Job Summary:
The agent works independently to support the team, ramp personnel, and customers by resolving baggage delays in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Responsibilities include managing tasks between and during flight arrivals, responding to requests through the baggage software system, emails, and phone calls, including voicemails. The agent assists passengers in filing claims for delayed luggage and resolving issues related to damaged baggage.
During each shift, the agent oversees flight arrivals at the baggage claim area, reviews unclaimed bags, and investigates their status. Once a baggage issue is resolved, the agent ensures proper closure of files. The role involves conducting searches across various areas, maintaining active communication with ramp staff, and balancing physical tasks such as walking and moving bags with administrative duties on the computer. Additional responsibilities include completing shift-specific reports, organizing and relocating bags using carts, and tracking detailed information about baggage transportation.

Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
* Possess a valid Driver’s License.
Physical requirements:
* Must be able to frequently lift, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs.; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs.; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.
Working conditions:
* Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
* Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
