Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily security operations and access control across client facilities, ensuring safe and secure entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Provides direct supervision, training, and performance oversight of security and screening personnel. Coordinates emergency response, monitors site activity, and ensures consistent compliance with security procedures, company policies, and client requirements.

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily site security operations, supervising and directing screening and security personnel to ensure effective access control and compliance with client standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance; enforce dress code, professionalism, and procedural adherence, issuing corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage and verify daily assignments, scheduling, and time records while ensuring full operational coverage across all posts.
• Conduct and monitor access control procedures, including ID and vehicle decal verification, visitor screening, and random security inspections.
• Respond to and coordinate resolution of alarms, emergencies, and incidents; document and communicate all critical events to management.
• Maintain accurate reports, patrol logs, and equipment inventories to support accountability and operational readiness.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
