Our model is grounded in partnerships allowing physicians to focus on patient care while UVP provides the operational, legal, and administrative infrastructure to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a UVP-wide procurement strategy across practices and ASCs.
- Shift procurement from transactional buying to strategic spend management, value analysis, and supplier partnerships.
- Establish procurement as a core lever for margin improvement and operational excellence.
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on enterprise spend economics.
- Partner with Finance to track realized savings and ensure EBITDA impact is measurable and durable.
- Lead negotiations with key vendors (e.g., ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, implants, supplies, equipment, purchased services).
- Collaborate with vendors on new technologies, products, and process improvements.
- Partner with physician leaders to align clinical preferences with economic value, without compromising quality or autonomy.
- Ensure procurement decisions are transparent, clinically informed, and physician-respected.
- Build standardized supply chain processes across all ASCs.
- Optimize inventory management, par levels, purchasing workflows, and vendor performance.
- Implement procurement analytics to track spend, utilization, pricing, vendor performance, and savings.
- Partner with IT and Finance to integrate procurement data into enterprise dashboards and Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).
- Leverage technology to automate purchasing workflows and reduce manual burden on the field.
- Use data to support forecasting, benchmarking, and strategic planning.
- 8–12 years of procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing experience
- Experience in healthcare services, ASCs, or multi-site clinical environments
- Demonstrated success driving enterprise-level cost savings and margin improvement
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and executive communication skills
- Ability to partner effectively with physicians and operators
- Preferred experience in private-equity-backed or growth-oriented platforms
- BA required and MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred, not required
- Be part of a physician-centric organization where legal decisions directly support patient care and physician autonomy
- Work in a collaborative environment that values ethics, respect, and thoughtful communication

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
