Duration: 6 months (Potential extension to 12 months)

Overview
Our client is seeking a senior-level Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Consultant to support a major expansion project involving a broad suite of process equipment for oligonucleotide synthesis, upstream preparation, downstream purification, and supporting utilities. This consultant will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for developing User Requirements Specifications (URS) and providing technical guidance across a wide range of specialized equipment.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer or technical SME with deep expertise in oligonucleotide manufacturing operations, equipment, and facility fit-out.
Required Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
- At least 7 years of direct experience in oligonucleotide manufacturing (synthesis, cleavage/deprotection, purification, TFF, enzymatic ligation, buffers, utilities, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting URS documents and working with process equipment vendors, engineering partners, and project teams.
- Understanding of GMP, validation, automation/controls, and process engineering principles.
