Summary:
We are seeking a Mold Technician II to support the maintenance, repair, and performance of plastic injection molds in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves both in-press and bench work, ensuring tooling is running efficiently and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on injection molds
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex tooling
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support mold performance
- Read and interpret 2D/3D drawings
- Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
- Maintain proper documentation and shop cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, ISO, and company standards
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with shop tools
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and molding machines
- Injection molding or tool maintenance experience preferred
- Familiarity with machining or hot runner systems is a plus
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
