Job Title: MEP Coordinator – Data Centers
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Initial 6 months), then Hammond, IN / Frazer, PA
Duration: 24 Months
Pay Rate: Open Per Diem (as per state guidelines) All these resources needs to be on 1099 only.
MEP Coordinator
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on-site
- Work with contractors and engineers for installation, integration, and commissioning
- Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Track project progress and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with design, commissioning, and safety standards
- Support PLC, SCADA, and BMS systems
- Assist with system integration, testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot automation-related issues
- Ensure systems meet operational and performance requirements
- Support electrical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, and backup systems
- Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and startup
- Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance
- Support troubleshooting and system optimization
- 15 years of relevant experience (MEP / Automation / Electrical)
- Strong experience in commissioning, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Data center / mission-critical experience preferred
- Strong experience in construction, commissioning, and infrastructure systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Open to travel/relocation
- BMS / SCADA / PLC experience
- Large-scale data center / hyperscale experience
- Strong coordination and communication skills
