About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Customer Success Platforms team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and integrations supporting our Customer Success Management (CSM) ecosystem. This role focuses on Gainsight NXT, Microsoft technologies, cloud services, data engineering, and enterprise integrations while enabling AI-driven customer success capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering experience, expertise in enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, backend development, and data engineering, along with the ability to collaborate across Product, Architecture, Business Systems, and Customer Success teams.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions within Gainsight NXT and CRM platforms.
• Configure Rules Engine, Scorecards, Dashboards, Data Designer, Journey Orchestrator, and customer lifecycle automation.
• Develop reusable, high-quality software components following engineering best practices.
• Build secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise applications.

Integration Development

• Develop and maintain integrations between:
  • Gainsight NXT
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Databricks
  • SnapLogic
  • Enterprise middleware platforms
• Build REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Automate enterprise workflows and data synchronization.

Data Engineering

• Design and optimize SQL data models.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure and Databricks.
• Support Customer Health Scores, Customer 360, lifecycle analytics, and predictive insights.
• Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and performance.

AI & Innovation

• Prototype AI-driven capabilities including:
  • Sentiment Analysis
  • Predictive Customer Health
  • Escalation Detection
  • Customer Risk Prediction
  • Intelligent Workflow Automation

Product Engineering

• Develop low-level technical designs.
• Create Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Participate in architecture reviews.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Optimize application performance.

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Product Managers
  • Solution Architects
  • Business Analysts
  • Scrum Teams
  • QA Engineers
  • Customer Success Teams

Leadership

• Mentor engineers.
• Participate in technical interviews.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Drive engineering best practices.
• Support Agile delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience developing enterprise integrations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
