Senior Geophysical Java Software Engineer

Location - Houston, Texas, LTTS US Branch

Rate - $58/hr on C2C

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS "Strong proficiency in Java 8 (or later), Experience in seismic or subsurface commercial software JNI/C interoperability exposure"

Job Description & Skill Requirement - Required: Java (8 ), multithreading & performance optimization, seismic processing/imaging domain knowledge, large‑scale data handling, parallel computing, scientific testing & validation, Linux, cloud‑ready development on AWS, strong collaboration with geophysicists.

 

Preferred: Distributed/HPC computing concepts, cost‑efficient cloud processing, containerization, reproducible scientific workflows.
