For every child, Safety

Lebanon’s child protection system has been heavily affected by recent crises, increasing children’s vulnerability - especially in early childhood settings. In response to critical gaps highlighted by recent daycare maltreatment cases, the Ministry of Public Health, in partnership with UNICEF and key stakeholders, has developed a new Child Safeguarding Policy for Daycares. This programme aims to strengthen safety and accountability in daycare facilities by raising awareness of the policy, building staff capacity, and supporting nationwide implementation to ensure consistent safeguarding standards for young children.
