As a Staff Accountant at Unicapital Asset Management Group, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our accounting processes. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting our real estate and property management operations through diligent financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance related to real estate assets and property management activities.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including transactions related to property acquisitions, leasing, and management. Ensure all entries are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other key accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Expense Tracking: Review and process expense reports related to property management and development projects. Monitor departmental budgets and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments specific to real estate transactions and property management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting regulations, company policies, and internal controls. Assist with audits and regulatory reporting related to real estate and property management.
