Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting and business banking operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a small business environment, managing day-to-day accounting activities, supervising staff, and partnering with
ownership and external accountants.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all company accounting functions including general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, inventory, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports.
• Manage company banking relationships and daily cash management.
• Supervise and review work of accounting staff (two people).
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Serve as primary liaison with the outside accounting firm for audits and tax preparation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
• Provide financial support and analysis to the President/Owner.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized private company
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience working with external auditors and tax preparers.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, or inventory-based businesses preferred.

Salary : $70,000 - $120,000
