Uni-Cast is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee and maintain our quality management systems and processes. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards, while driving continuous improvement across all quality-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract review processes, including evaluation of purchase orders and specification requirements
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and revised specifications
  • Monitor compliance with internal quality systems and industry standards, including Nadcap requirements
  • Coordinate and manage internal, customer, registrar, and Nadcap and AS9000 audits
  • Lead corrective and preventive action processes for internal operations and suppliers
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, KPIs, and customer performance data
  • Manage material and calibration certifications, including documentation and system updates (e.g., Gage Manager)
  • Support new part setup by entering and maintaining quality data in AS400
  • Oversee supplier performance, surveys, and external quality activities (e.g., round robin testing)
  • Ensure compliance of special processes, including heat treat reviews, welder qualifications, materials testing and NDT
  • Facilitate annual Management Review meetings and internal QMS audits
  • Coordinate employee compliance requirements (e.g., eye exams) and provide support for related administrative activities
  • Provide cross-functional support, including assistance with IT-related issues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and compliance standards - Nadcap experience required
  • Experience with AS400 and quality management systems helpful
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
