Project Superintendent II – Healthcare Construction
Location: Santa Rosa, CA | On-Site
Compensation: $135,000 - $160,000 DOE
Additional Comp: Company Vehicle & Gas Card
Time Off: Up to 30 days/annually
Unger Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects in active, occupied environments in Santa Rosa, CA, and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a steady, solutions-oriented leader who understands how to build safely and efficiently while hospitals and clinics remain fully operational.
You’ll take the lead on field operations, safety, phasing, and coordination, working closely with facility teams, inspectors, and project leadership to deliver high-quality work with minimal disruption.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of Superintendent experience on commercial or healthcare projects
- Commercial MEP Experience is highly preferred
- Proven success working in occupied healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of safety, infection control, phasing, and logistics
- Ability to coordinate confidently with owners, facility staff, inspectors, and trade partners
- OSHPD (HCAI) experience and knowledge are preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools a plus
- A valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record is required due to a company truck assignment.
