PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining the grounds, parking lot and driveways of the facility. May assist the Facility Maintenance team with general repairs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Responsibilities Percentage
Repair building equipment to include plumbing, structures, carpentry, dry and wet fire systems, etc. 50%
Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment to include inspection, cleaning, lubrications, adjustments and repairs, etc. 20%
Perform building modifications to include plumbing, welding, electrical, carpentry, etc. 10%
Keep accurate records of preventative maintenance and all other work performed. 5%
Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor 5%
Communicate with Supervisor daily on changes and problems with building equipment. 5%
Clean work area/warehouse and equipment 5% /Performs other relevant job duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience
- Two (2) years general maintenance experience
- Welding Certification required with minimum of five (5) years of welding experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical trades, and/or related to building maintenance.
- Required to have own tools.
- Must be able to work flexible hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
- Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
