The Production Dumper is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials into large bins (Hopper) to feed product into feeding conveyors according to customer specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for loading the equipment (Hopper) with raw products to start production safety by using correct lifting techniques.
- Ensures the product flow at an optimal level at all times.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained.
- Report to Machine Operator or Supervisor or QA/QC Technician any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety
- Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures and follow all company guidelines.
- Effectively communicating relevant information to fellow employees on the shift and to on-coming employees at shift change.
- Must be able to stack pallets and load box feeder.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the area including understanding the different types of cleanings based on the production run.
- Other related tasks during production operation as assigned by Supervisor, including packing when assigned
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
- High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience
- Experience in a manufacturing Production environment preferred but not required System Implementation Preferred Knowledge:
- Understands Safety guidelines
- Knowledge of applicable production management system (prod)
- Able to work in an environment containing Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Soy, Wheat, and Milk
- Detail-oriented, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors including verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to operating powered equipment
- Dependable, responsible team player; good attendance
- Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of production for a more global understanding of all processes.
- Perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as push/pull/lift, bend continuously throughout the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand for a long period of time (duration of the shift (8 hours ).
