Part Time Floral Clerk

Lakeville West Cub on 1Kenwood Trail is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time floral position! Floral team members at Cub maintain plants and flowers to assist customers in selecting floral products. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service! 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Handles floral goods in a safe manner and ensures the work area is clean and neat  
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner.   
• Reviews the status and appearance of flowers for freshness.
• Sorts floral loads as assigned.
• Anticipates product needs for the department.
• Assist with customer questions or requests. 
  
  

Job Requirements: 

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.). 
• Able to stand for long periods of time. 
• Memorization, reading, writing and math. 
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service. 
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available. 
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing. 
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays. 
• Must be 16 years of age and older. 
  
  

 

Physical Requirements: 

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. 
• Walking on uneven ground. 
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions.

• Varied weekly shifts including weekends.
