UNEW is currently looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our growing team. You will support the design, development, and inspection of a wide variety of complex parts. Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of a wide variety of complex parts using state of the art computer aided inspection techniques
- Interface with Senior Engineering personnel to coordinate inspection of parts
- Prepare required inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications in accordance with established ISO17025 procedures
- Provide technical support to Integrated Product Development team and all UNEW design and development activities
- Review all designed products for conformance to UNEW standards
- Prepare and/or edit detailed drawings and completed mechanical drawings and layouts of components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes
- Develop CAD models from scan data using state of the art reverse engineering software
- Disposition of Non Conforming hardware
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 0-2 years’ experience
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CAD software, Siemens NX a plus
- Scripting experience, a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
