We're looking for a Basketball Coach who can bring energy, leadership, and knowledge to help guide our athletes both on and off the court.
Job Description
We’re hiring a Basketball Coach who can lead training sessions, support team development, and mentor athletes of all levels from 3-year-old beginners to competitive middle and high school players. This role goes beyond running drills, it’s about building culture, inspiring effort, and helping each athlete unlock their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead skill development sessions focused on shooting, ball-handling, defense, and game IQ
- Coach youth teams during practices and games
- Work with the strength & conditioning staff to align physical and basketball training goals
- Provide positive feedback and constructive correction to athletes
- Track individual progress and help athletes hit developmental milestones
- Help run end-of-month testing, challenges, and team events
- Assist with organizing tryouts, team rosters, and player development plans
Qualifications
- Experience coaching youth and/or competitive basketball (required)
- Strong understanding of fundamental and advanced basketball concepts
- Ability to connect with kids and communicate clearly and positively
- High energy, reliable, and passionate about teaching
- Coaching certification or playing experience at the college/pro level is a plus
