Mission

In light of the increased vulnerability of immigrants in the US that’s part of a broader context of injustice, a coalition of national and local ministries have coalesced around a vision to “love mercy, do justice, and walk humbly with our God” in solidarity with our friends and neighbors impacted by immigration enforcement and increasingly vocal community hostility. Our aim is to catalyze sustained pro-immigrant actions of compassion and justice in communities across the US. We are recruiting field staff rooted in key states who will help disciple, equip and organize this effort particularly among evangelical Christians across the ethnic and denominational spectrum.

This role is fundamentally grounded in biblical discipleship, spiritual formation, and faith-led leadership development within and alongside the Church. It is rooted in the biblical call to pursue justice and mercy, welcoming the stranger and advocating for the vulnerable. Evangelical churches are uniquely positioned to lead with both compassion and conviction, reflecting the love of Christ in public life. By ‘evangelical,’ we refer to a diverse and global movement of churches committed to the authority of Scripture, the centrality of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit, and a holistic gospel witness that includes both personal salvation and public justice. This coalition includes UNDIVIDED, the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA), the National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NALEC), and World Relief.
