Data Center Construction Project Manager – Los Angeles PortfolioWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee critical asset development projects across our Los Angeles portfolio. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with experience operating in live data center or mission-critical environments, preferably within high-rise buildings. This role requires strong technical depth in coordinating complex MEP, electrical, structural, and commissioning-related workflows while maintaining operational continuity in an active building with telecom tenants.This position works closely with clients, vendors, internal teams, commissioning agents, and property management to ensure successful outcomes from initial design through project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesData Center & High-Rise Operational RequirementsManage projects within an active, high-rise data center environment with live customers and strict operational constraints.Coordinate with MEP, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure technical accuracy and readiness.Validate GC sequencing, quality, and critical-path coordination—not just receive updates.Ensure adherence to facility standards around electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, distribution), cooling, and supporting infrastructure.Support commissioning workflows, documentation, and readiness milestones.General Project Management ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal teams, general contractors, design partners, and third-party vendors to execute multiple projects simultaneously.Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Assist in defining project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder alignment.Oversee resource planning, allocation, and availability.Develop detailed and actionable project plans to monitor timelines and progress.Manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget using proper verification/control processes.Track and measure performance using PM tools, analytics, and standardized reporting.Provide regular updates, progress reports, and escalations to senior management.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, property management teams, and all relevant stakeholders.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including schedule updates, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.Meet with clients to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and ensure alignment at all stages.Monitor and evaluate project performance against both short- and long-term objectives.Manage project budgets, analyze financial data, and adjust constraints as needed.Prepare spreadsheets, diagrams, workflows, and process maps to support planning and documentation.Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by leadership.QualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager overseeing data center, mission-critical, or large-scale high-rise construction environments.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and full project lifecycle.Technical familiarity with MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, and commissioning practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to manage budgets, analyze financials, and proactively adjust plans.Strong vendor management and client-facing capabilities.Problem-solver with the ability to manage changing priorities in a live operational environment.Proficiency with project management platforms such as Procore, Prism, Yardi, and Microsoft Office Suite.ScheduleMonday–Friday, standard business hours.Company DescriptionWe support clients in over 100 markets around the world. Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
