Job Summary
In this position, Raw Material Mixer will load, unload, mix and move materials within or near the plant. This position supports the production floor and is responsible for ensuring the plastic injection machines have material to run.
2nd Shift: 4:00PM - 12:00AM
Must be able to train on 1st shift 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Essential Duties
- Handle and mix a variety of raw plastic materials
- Clean grinders and dryers
- Supply material as needed to eliminate downtime
- Counts, weighs, and verifies raw materials
- Ensure containers are properly labeled and easily identifiable
- Maintain filters, dryers, hoppers, vacuum stations, and grinders
- Return unused material back to staging area, and assist with workstation clean up
- Notify proper personnel of contaminated or damaged material
- Safely operate forklift and other equipment needed for job task
- Adheres to all OSHA safety policies and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 year of related experience in Material Handling or Shipping and Receiving.
- Ability to use math skills and knowledge of ratios for color and resin mixing
- Must be flexible & a team player
- Strong work ethic, self-starter
- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data
- Ability to operate machinery & the use of basic hand tools
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand and stoop
- Requires manual dexterity
- Continuous walking
- Frequently lift and or move 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manufacturing Plant and Warehouse working environment
