The Role
We’re looking for a Software Developer who thrives on building efficient, impactful web applications. You’ll design APIs, develop data-driven systems, and power the engine behind our climate risk solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Build scalable web applications and APIs using Java, JavaScript, and Python
- Optimize data access and performance with PostgreSQL and SQL
- Develop new features to meet evolving business needs
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable server infrastructure
- Work with time series and geospatial data to deliver actionable insights
- Contribute to innovative tools that reshape how the world insures against climate risk
What You Bring
- 2 years of full-stack development experience, ideally some spent in a start-up environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Java (Maven) and modern API frameworks
- Comfort working in the AWS ecosystem
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mindset
- Eligible to work without visa sponsorship

- Experience with GIS / geospatial analysis
- Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity
