Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the optometrist and staff in delivering high-quality eye care services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of customer service and teamwork.
Duties
As an Optometric Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with check-in and check-out processes while ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Conducting preliminary eye exams, including measuring visual acuity and taking patient histories.
- Performing basic diagnostic tests and recording vital signs as needed.
- Educating patients on proper eye care and post-operative instructions.
- Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment within the office.
- Engaging with patients to provide information about retail products and services.
Experience
- No medical experience is necessary. We will train you on all aspects of patient care.
- Strong Customer Service skills
