Construction Project Manager
Our Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing field construction projects. Activities to include scheduling, resource allocation, material procurement and documentation administration. Ensure that projects are completed in a manner consistent with the project guidelines and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise Project Superintendents and other personnel as assigned;
- Manage administrative project aspects, project plans, proposals and project documents/contracts;
- Track project progress for compilation into owner pay estimates;
- Obtain permits required for assigned projects;
- Attend internal pre-construction meetings and attend owner mandated pre-construction meetings as required;
- Interact with field management and field personnel;
- Maintains MS Project Schedules on an ongoing monthly basis;
- Receive change order requests/RFI from the field and submit to owners for direction and completion;
- Ensure field employee compliance with safety, quality control programs and compliance to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both a written and oral manner;
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish);
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals;
- Must be flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of others, philosophically committed to the objectives of the Company.
- Ability to work well at project sites in the field environment;
- Ability to prioritize and plan work schedules and use time effectively;
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a collaborative manner;
- Ability to work extended hours as required;
- Ability to lead and motivate groups;
- May be required to possess valid state driver's license;
- Must be able to work effectively not only individually but in a team environment as well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
