Regional Construction Manager - Pipe Technologies

Underground Solutions is looking for a Regional Construction Manager to support our PVC fusion and pipe technologies. This position can be based in Florida, Alabama or Georgia. You MUST reside in this region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent pipeline/rehab construction experience

• More than 5 years of field construction experience and technically proficient

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling, Sliplining, Pipe Bursting and reviewing Engineering Drawings

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required due to the strong commercial element of the position

• Experience working independently while properly managing a fluid schedule

• Experience managing technicians and installation staff

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams

• Ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic, good organization skills, attention to detail, and dedication to a team environment

• Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, depending upon project location

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to jobsites where Fusible PVC® pipe products are being installed and working with the installation contractor to ensure the customer understands the material properties, proper handling and installation procedures

• Work with other Regional Sales Managers and Engineers to help assess project risk

• Meet with customers to assist with any technical installation questions and challenges

• Review project plans for constructability

• Manage and supervise Fusion Technician crews
