- Set up and operate screen printing machinery, including manual and automatic presses, ensuring proper alignment and registration of designs
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates according to project specifications, maintaining optimal color management and consistency
- Conduct prepress tasks such as image preparation, layout design, and color matching using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools
- Monitor print runs for quality control, inspecting prints for color accuracy, registration, and overall finish
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during operation of machinery like CNC machines or flexo presses
- Maintain accurate production records, including job logs, quality reports, and inventory of inks and supplies
Experience
- Proven experience in screen printing operations within a manufacturing or print shop environment
- Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management techniques, and layout design principles
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience working with various printing equipment including flexo presses and CNC machines is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is advantageous
- Understanding of quality control standards specific to print advertising or product decoration projects
- Basic machining skills or experience with typography and layout design enhances performance in this role
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
