About the Role
This organization is seeking a Product Engineer to take full ownership of core product areas, driving features from conception to deployment. This role is inherently full-stack, encompassing the delivery of polished, user-centric frontend experiences using React and Next.js, as well as the construction of the robust APIs, data models, and backend services that power their sophisticated AI agents.
As a key member of a small, agile, and AI-native engineering team, this individual will enjoy significant autonomy and a genuine voice in shaping both the product roadmap and the technical architecture. The ideal candidate is deeply consumer-minded and product-focused, using code not just as a technical exercise, but as a primary tool for delivering tangible value to users.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the development of the frontend experience, backend architecture, and overarching developer experience.
- Explore and rapidly prototype new AI-driven product features and autonomous agents.
- Build, iterate, and scale web features using a modern stack including React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Design and implement the backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that form the foundation of the platform and its AI capabilities.
- Independently manage end-to-end feature delivery, while also collaborating closely with Design and Product teams to refine concepts into polished, high-quality products.
- Play a critical role in making core technical and product decisions as part of a tight-knit, fast-moving team.
Who You Are
- Possesses 4 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally within a technology startup or early-stage company.
- Demonstrates strong full-stack engineering skills with a proven track record of architecting and shipping polished, user-facing products.
- Approaches engineering with a product-driven mindset, exhibiting a strong eye for design, user experience, and performance optimization.
- Embraces a high-ownership mentality, driving every feature through to completion and holding oneself to a high standard of quality.
- Is naturally curious and ambitious, with a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges and translating them into seamless user experiences.
- Has a strong bias for action, iterating and shipping features quickly even in environments with ambiguous specifications.
- Is fully "AI-native," leveraging AI coding tools to amplify personal velocity and impact. This individual is eager to work in an environment where AI is a core pillar of both the product and internal operations, even if their current company does not fully embrace it.
- An interest in franchising and the local business landscape is a plus.
