Role Overview
The Partnership Sales Manager position is an opportunity to have ownership and autonomy with the guidance and support of the entire underdog & Co. team.
The ideal candidate is a proactive dealmaker who can strategically prospect, conduct outreach, build strong relationships, and have a meaningful impact on our client’s business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and pursue new partners on behalf of our growing client base
- Manage the partnership sales cycle from prospecting to proposal creation to contract execution with support from VP
- Negotiate partnership terms, sponsorship packages, and revenue agreements with support from VP
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients and partners
- Maintain thorough communication and reporting with both VP and clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate company-wide growth
- Represent underdog & Co. in meetings, networking events, and industry conferences
- Build and track robust pipeline activity and partnership performance
- Stay updated on client industry news and trends
- Negotiate partnership terms, sponsorship packages, and revenue agreements with support from VP
Who You Are:
- 2–5 years of experience in partnership sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
- Proven track record of closing partnership or sponsorship deals
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Experience working with a portfolio of clients is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
