Lead Machine Learning Engineer (3 Days Onsite)

What You’ll Take On

You will be the pioneering force for ML and advanced technologies within our senior, tight-knit engineering team. Your work will directly upgrade our core matching and recommendation systems, delivering immense value to our users.

• You will design, develop, and deploy ML/AI-driven models to enhance our matching engines, industry classification systems, and core product features.
• You will help establish ML and MLOps best practices, laying the technical groundwork for sustained AI/ML development for years to come.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define and execute AI strategies that are directly aligned with our core business objectives.
• You will optimize AI and machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and scalability, ensuring they integrate reliably into our production platform.
• You will develop and refine our recommendation systems, applying techniques in NLP, deep learning, and predictive analytics to fundamentally improve buyer-seller matchmaking.
• You will create clear documentation and visualizations to communicate complex insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Who You Are

You are a technically excellent leader who thrives on ownership and building from the ground up.

• You have 5 years of experience using AI/ML and related technologies to materially improve consumer or B2B software experiences.
• You possess strong production expertise specifically in building, modifying, and scaling machine learning recommendation systems and engines.
• You are familiar with SQL and data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift) for powering AI-driven analytics.
• You have outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
