Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques to ensure efficient handling of inventory
- Verify delivery orders, inspect packages for damage, and obtain signatures upon delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout your shift
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally during deliveries
- Assist in warehouse organization by moving stock, restocking shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading/unloading, and warehouse activities to promote a secure working environment
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with route driving expertise
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, inventory management, and equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Knowledge of safety standards related to driving, warehouse work, and equipment use
