Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Worker to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be skilled in various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. This role involves maintaining residential and commercial properties by performing a variety of lawn care and landscaping services to ensure beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools and hand tools to achieve desired grass height and appearance
• Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with pruning shears, trimmers, or chainsaws to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and leaf blowers
• Clear snow using plowing equipment during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility
• Maintain the cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
• Conduct general maintenance on landscaping equipment and power tools to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating mowers and other lawn equipment
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating equipment or traveling between job sites
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
