Duties
- Perform patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans
- Provide pain management through various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Offer exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Apply anatomy knowledge to target specific muscle groups and address areas of concern
- Assist in acute pain management by providing relief through therapeutic massage
- Completion of SOAP notes within 24 hours
Experience
- Current Oregon Massage Therapy license.
- Proficiency in a wide range of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, cupping a plus
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proven ability to provide effective pain management through therapeutic massage
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals in a professional and compassionate manner
