Salary/Position Classification

• Undergrad $15.00, Grad $17.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5-10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

• This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate student homework submissions using designated solutions
• Identify and highlight instances of academic integrity violations within homework assignments
• Precisely record homework assessments within Blackboard grade book
• Ensure expedited turnaround for homework evaluation, adhering to a 2-3 day timeline (ex: homework submitted Friday graded by Sunday)
• Continued employment throughout semester is contingent upon demonstrated proficiency and excellent performance
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Earned grade of B or better in the assigned course (Statics, Dynamics or Mechanics of Materials)
• Assigned course completed at University of North Dakota
• Junior or senior status within Civil or Mechanical Engineering program at the University of North Dakota
• Demonstrated capability to comprehend and analyze various problem-solving methodologies
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
