Kitchen Production Assistant — Uncommon Table

Kenner, LA (5 mins from the airport) | Part-time, 15–20 hrs/week (not to exceed 20) | $16–17/hour

Uncommon Table is a health-conscious food business specializing in fresh-pressed juices, soups, salads, wraps, and bowls. We’re looking for a self-sufficient, reliable Kitchen Production Assistant to join our small team.

Schedule:

• Mondays: 5:00–10:00 PM
• Thursdays: 5:00–10:00 PM
• Sundays: 5–10 hours, flexible (coordinated weekly)
• Total: 15–20 hours/week, not to exceed 20

This role requires someone who can work independently for full shifts with minimal supervision. You’ll often be handling production solo — from prepping produce to packaging finished product — so we need someone who takes ownership and doesn’t need step-by-step direction.

What You’ll Do

• Prior kitchen/food prep experience preferred
• Comfortable working solo and managing your own workflow
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to follow recipes and food safety standards consistently
• Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain one)

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25–30 lbs
• Able to stand, bend, and move for the full shift

Pay: $16–17/hour, based on experience
