Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Groomer at our Minneapolis, MN location. The Groomer will be responsible for performing grooming services such as bathing, hair trimming, nail clipping, and teeth cleaning. Additional tasks include evaluating pets’ needs during appointments, maintaining a clean work environment, handling pets with care and patience, and consulting with pet owners about grooming options and post-groom care.
Qualifications
- Experience in bathing, hair trimming, nail clipping, and general grooming services
- Knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques, including working with dogs of various sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
- Professional grooming certification or relevant experience in a grooming environment is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
