Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred but not required
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
