Part-Time Scanning Clerk – Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, Morris Plains, NJ

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a love for gourmet food? Join our Morris Plains Uncle Giuseppe’s team as a Part-Time Scanning Clerk! In this role, you’ll help keep our store pricing accurate and consistent—ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth, reliable shopping experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete all weekly price changes sent from Uncle Giuseppe’s headquarters, verifying and correcting any discrepancies

• Maintain accurate pricing files that align with weekly sales, circulars, and promotions

• Manage the UPC program by sorting, separating, and placing tags correctly

• Ensure all products are properly tagged, signed, and scan accurately on the sales floor

• Conduct weekly aisle scanning audits to verify price accuracy

• Keep thorough records and update pricing logs weekly

• Communicate effectively with all departments and provide courteous, helpful service to customers

• Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 18 years or older

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to recognize numbers that may be out of sequence

• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Patience and focus for detailed, repetitive tasks
