What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher (overnight) position at UNCLE GS MGMT CORP?
Our North Babylon store is seeking a FT Dishwasher for their OVERNIGHT Kitchen team! Our Dishwasher will be responsible for washing plates, dishes, utensils, baking dishes/sheets and all other dirty Kitchen ware. The Dishwasher will also clean appliances and industrial equipment as needed, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, baking pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, serving spoons/ tools by washing all items that need to be washed and cleaned
- Preparing Kitchen area stations with clean cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, bowls, plates, etc.
- Will clean machines and appliances used in the Kitchen
- Will be responsible for removing the trash and rinsing garbage cans
- Supporting other kitchen staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
Dishwasher Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Previous experience working as a dishwasher is a plus
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
