Our sweetest department at our store is currently seeking a Candy Lead to guide and inspire our Candy team. This full-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic, customer-focused leader who enjoys creating memorable experiences in a fun, inviting environment. The Candy Lead will play a key role in enhancing the overall customer experience by delivering exceptional service, supporting team members, and maintaining an appealing and well-organized department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all Candy Store customers
- Lead, interview, hire, train, and develop team members within the Candy Department
- Operate registers, stock merchandise, and prepare customer pickup orders
- Oversee candy decorating and visual presentation to ensure an attractive shopping experience
- Manage ordering, inventory control, equipment cleanliness, department sanitation, and overall appearance
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience in the food industry; Candy Store experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to listen attentively and communicate in a professional, friendly manner
- Commitment to food safety, equipment safety, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Capable of keeping supplies replenished to minimize downtime
- Proven ability to build rapport with team members and lead by example

Working Conditions
