Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal prep according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients for daily specials and catering events
- Assist with food presentation, garnishing, and portion control to ensure visual appeal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable but not manditory
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
