Role Description
The CNA Instructor (LVN or RN) will deliver engaging and thorough instruction to students enrolled in the Nurse Aide Training program. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching curriculum based on state and organizational guidelines, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The instructor will also ensure compliance with all educational standards and licensing requirements. This is a contract, on-site role located in Dallas, TX. Primary role will be to attend and direct students in the clinical setting.
Qualifications
- Active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state of Texas
- Strong teaching, instructional, and presentation skills
- Ability to assess, mentor, and evaluate student progress
- Experience in CNA training or similar healthcare education roles
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for CNA programs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
- CPR instructor certification and other related certifications are a plus
