The primary purpose of the University Sustainability Officer (USO) is to develop and manage programs that address university strategic goals and ensure compliance with policies and regulations for environmental stewardshipManage and lead the sustainability team and various University-wide initiatives and programs.Create, set & evaluate sustainability goals.Balance the competing needs and available resources to achieve stewardship across the dimensions of business management, development, energy use, operations and regulatory requirements.Clearly & effectively contribute to the development of operational & project planning the sustainability choices and trade-offs to maximize the impact of practices that fulfill the requirements of the position.
