We seek a visionary scholar and educator to join our faculty and collaborate in the development of a strategic new interdisciplinary curriculum focused on the intersection of music, business innovation, and technology. This position is a new investment in the future of creative careers at our institution, which will include collaboration with the College of Arts and Architecture and the Belk College of Business in addition to other relevant technology/arts units. Duties include teaching courses related to music entrepreneurship, technology, and/or industry, and retaining excellent students. Additional duties may be assigned commensurate with the candidate’s expertise and the department’s curricular, service, and community outreach needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for significant contributions to the field through research and a strong commitment to developing a cohort of entrepreneurially minded students.
