What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at UNC Health Southeastern?
POSITION SUMMARY: Advise and assist leadership and employees on employee issues and concerns through communicating, interpreting and recommending appropriate use of human resource policies and procedures, and services and programs of UNC Health Southeastern. Handles day-to-day employee relations activities and administers other human resources programs as required.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources. Three years’ experience in Human Resources.
PREFERRED: Master’s Degree in Business or Human Resources.
ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgment based on policies, procedures, practices, risk factors and precedent. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to inspire trust and confidence and effectively influence the decision-making process.
