What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Radiology position at UNC Health Southeastern?
Job Summary:
Directs, develops, coordinates and integrates imaging services within UNC Health Southeastern.
Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certification in a specific Radiologic discipline through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
Professional Experience Requirements:
Seven (7) years of related experience, including five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role.
