ARMA Clinical Educator
Location: Boone, North Carolina | Full-Time

You’ll collaborate closely with practice leaders, clinical staff, and the Learning Center to design engaging educational programs, optimize workflows, and promote a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Compensation: Varies based on level of licensure, education and experience.
Schedule: Full-time, day shift with occasional travel and irregular hours as needed.

What You’ll Do as an ARMA Clinical Educator
Coordinate onboarding and training activities for newly hired ambulatory clinical staff.
Develop engaging, interactive, and relevant educational content tailored to diverse learning styles.
Create presentations, training resources, and learning materials that support staff competency and clinical readiness.
Collaborate with practice leaders and interdisciplinary teams to identify educational needs and implement targeted development programs.
Contribute to optimizing clinical workflows and supporting quality improvement initiatives across ambulatory practices.
Ensure staff understand and apply accreditation standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices in patient care.
Promote a healthy, inclusive, and supportive environment that enhances employee well-being and professional growth.
Partner with multiple departments to ensure consistent, high-quality training and development resources.
Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of an RN licensure or Medical Assistant certification
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience preferred, ideally in an ambulatory care setting.
Licenses/Certifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or accredited Medical Assistant certification
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop training materials and deliver education in an engaging, effective way.
Strong understanding of accreditation standards and how to apply them in ambulatory environments.
Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to evolving training needs.
Strong organizational and instructional design skills.
Physical & Work Environment
Frequent travel within the system; occasional overnight travel for seminars or training.
Continuous standing, walking, speaking, writing, and teaching for 8 hours per day.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 lbs during demonstrations or clinical activities.
Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor tasks.
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, mechanical equipment, and hospital environment risks.
May encounter irregular hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, or emergency situations.
Frequent close eye work and use of instructional materials, computers, and presentations.
