Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
This internship with the Unbranded team provides hands-on exposure to Sunoco’s fuel business, with a focus on government contracts, bid support, and operational coordination. The intern will work closely with team members to support reporting, research, and day-to-day activities while gaining practical industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Unbranded team to learn Sunoco’s fuel business and contracting processes
- Assist with researching and tracking government and commercial bid opportunities at the local, state, and national levels
- Support the review and organization of RFP and RFQ documents, including bid requirements and pricing structures
- Help prepare bid packages and supporting documentation for internal review
- Work with internal teams such as Supply, Dispatch, and Trading to gather information for bid submissions
- Assist with compiling metrics and reports for business tracking and optimization
- Support communication efforts once contracts are awarded by helping coordinate next steps with internal stakeholders
- Assist with scheduling, work orders, and maintaining organized files and records
- Help respond to routine inquiries under supervision

- Currently enrolled in college - we’re open to candidates of all degrees – if you possess the intangibles above and the work sounds intriguing, we can teach you the rest
- Preferably junior status
- General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
- Above average GPA
- Distinctive problem solving skills and an intellectual curiosity to solve unique and oftentimes complex problems
- Strong work ethic and high level of self-motivation and accountability to “get stuff done” – while you’ll receive regular coaching and feedback, we intentionally position our interns to be able to own their work
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasionally tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills - familiarity with SQL a plus
