Restaurant Construction Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Project Manager to join our team. The Restaurant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction aspects of our restaurant projects, from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for restaurant construction and renovation projects
• Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project objectives are met
• Manage and oversee the construction process, including procurement, construction progress, quality control, and safety
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and building codes
• Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues, risks, and obstacles; develop and implement solutions to mitigate these issues
• Work with restaurant management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders
• Manage and mentor project team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in restaurant project management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
