Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Helpdesk support
- Assist users either via phone, email or LogMeIn to resolve any issues
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resources
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Maintain user administration in all systems including Online Office, Azure, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Local backup maintenance & testing
- Maintain Antivirus at all locations
- Local & remote hardware support / troubleshooting
- Local & remote network maintenance
- Phone system maintenance / configuration
- Patch management via LogMeIn
- MDM via MaaS360
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manual
- Proven work experience as a Systems Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS and VMware environments
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Familiarity with Azure, LogMeIn, Veritas Backup Exec, VMWare, RingCentral, and MaaS360 are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Additional certification in Microsoft, VMware or similar technologies is a plus
