What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vault Utility position at Umpqua Dairy?
The Vault Utility Worker is responsible for properly maintaining the grounds and facilities of the premises in a safe and efficient manner. This position provides essential duties to ensure the exterior environment is safe, secure, and aesthetically attractive. In addition, this position supports warehouse operations by performing cleaning duties, supplying equipment/tools as needed, and occasionally assisting other departments. While maintaining an efficient work environment, promoting teamwork, and ensuring we produce the highest quality dairy products available in the marketplace.
Wage Range: $19.67 - $21.85
Essential Functions:
- Stack/assemble/rebuild pallets
- Count and record the number of units or materials moved or handled in the yar.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or with equipment
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment
- Operate industrial truck and forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Keep the work area clean and free of debris, remove broken products and any other hazards.
- Use chemicals to sanitize products, equipment, and facility grounds.
- Maintain recyclable products area
- All other assigned duties
